On April 2, 2020, Mr. Liu Guosheng met with Mr. Fang Yanshui, executive director and general manager of CMEC and his team.

Since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement in August 2019, the two sides have agreed on regular visits and interchanging between senior executives, and set up a work group to focus on cooperation of key projects. At the meeting, CMEC introduced overseas business development, epidemic impact and response measures, informed the progress of the project and thanked CNCDC for its initial works. CNCDC welcomed CMEC's visit during the epidemic, and introduced the successful cases and lessons in the development and operation of large-scale coal mines of China Coal Group. Finally, the two sides exchanged views in-depth on the investment risk control and promotion measures of the project. Relevant personnel from CNCDC overseas department and CODCO attended the meeting.
